Music Package

Harry Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and actor currently signed under Syco Music and Columbia Records. He has been active since 2010 as a member of the boy band One Direction, and is currently a solo artist with two studio albums.

This project is a Special Limited Edition concept design for his Fine Line album as there was a lack of a special edition. Due to the exponential growth of the Eastern music industry in current years and the introduction of the different styles of music packaging this brought, there is need for Western artist to match current trends.

Harry Style's Fine Line album is a very eccentric piece with vibrant pops of color and broken gender norms. Thus, for this project such elements were exaggerated. As this album was described by Styles himself to be full of his "toughest, most soulful songs he's written yet" this album conveys some type of personal touch. Achieved by making the outer cover a literal mail package from Styles himself to his fans. Throughout the design there is a back and forth between conventional masculine and feminine designsas Styles himself has done in his performances. This created a beautifully balanced piece which broke gender norms.
